- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆The five of us decided to celebrate my fathers 84th birthday at the Laleston inn, with it being a Tuesday we hadnt booked, on arriving at 7.15pm we were directed straight to the dinning area,as we were still waiting for 2 of the party we declined and asked to have a drink at the bar, at that point the atmosphere changed the owner moaned under his breath when he had to turn the lights on in part of the pub, we turned the pumps on to serve me with a lager I heard him remark under his breath "Trecco bayers" The last time I was a victim of this form of racism I was called "white trash" in Ilford lane, Ilford. needless to say we didnt eat there and now know why the pub was empty bar one person.
